Audible audiobook. Tess inherits the homestead of her grandfather, a world famous painter. She is converting the big old house into a bed and breakfast. Renovations include opening a wing, unbeknownst to her, it’s a studio – locked since her grandfather’s death, decades ago. She hears scratches on the studio door, ice cold drafts come and go – and a handsome local handyman traverses the pages with her to unravel a mystery to enjoy.
It’s a fun story – and of course, wonderful narration by Xe Sands. A curl up on the sofa page-turner. Not great literature, not intended to be – just an enjoyable listen.
