The Jackman and Evans Series consists of several novels in the police procedural genre. Main characters appearing throughout the series include Rowan Jackman, a Detective Inspector, and Marie Evans, a Lieutenant. You’ll meet several others in the department and enjoy solving and sleuthing along. The locale is the Lincolnshire Fens area of England – both author and narrator are British.
Seems there is lots of murder and mayhem in the Fens! Serial killers, cult leaders, the misguided, malevolent, and more … will have you listening to the wee hours. Narration and production are fine. No problem discerning who is speaking who whom.
Written by Joy Ellis, all books are narrated by Richard Armitage and approximately 8-10 hours of listening in unabridged audiobook format, and released from 2018 through 2022, likely more to come.
