The Stand by Stephen King
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Listened to The Stand for two reasons. One, the movie remake with Whoopi Goldberg as Mother Abagail. Second, just to say, “Yes, I read The Stand.”
Not much to say about a book like this, considering that there are more words written about the damned thing than are in it. Which is saying something – it’s LONG. And, it is Stephen King – ergo, verbose.
It’s an apocalyptic story of good vs evil.
There. I’m sure there is another review out there in cyberspace. Ya think?
