A Stitch in Time (A Stitch in Time, #1)A Stitch in Time by Kelley Armstrong
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A very complex story that is somehow easy to follow. In modern-day, an American woman, a professor, returns to a huge old house in Ireland that she inherited. She used to time-travel play with and visit a boy who lived in the house 100 years ago, an imaginary friend everyone thought. She knew better, and now that she’s returned as an adult, time has passed for him, too. He’s drop-dead gorgeous, has been waiting for her to return, and romance ensues. The house is haunted. She needs to solve mysterious deaths, banish ghosts, and somehow make a life with a man from another time,

Liked. Most events occur in the same house -100 years apart – but the time “hops” are easy to follow. The story is unique, no issues with the reading – bumped the speed up to 1.3. A time-travel, romantic ghost story.

Not so hot. A bit of a harlequin romance, beach read. The lead character is 38 years old, and her fantasies are that of a teenager sometimes. Maybe it’s just me, and you’ll find it peachy, but…
